About the event

🇬🇧 At Hansa School's Family Day, the Institute of Baltic Studies actively engaged students, teachers, and parents to gather creative ideas for the future design and use of the innovative IPV greenhouse attached to the school.

Parents were invited to share their insights through a survey. Some of the most interesting suggestions included transforming the greenhouse into an outdoor classroom, housing small animals for students to care for, and hosting insect or butterfly observation sessions. They also proposed implementing smart solutions like automatic irrigation and climate control systems, and using excess electricity to charge electric scooters or cars.

Children participated in three creative activities, drawing potential surroundings for the greenhouse, coloring or designing patterns for the solar panels, and proposing innovative uses for the excess electricity generated by the greenhouse.

The event fostered a collaborative and imaginative environment, bringing the school community together to envision a sustainable and educational future…
